My Story

Age: 23

Start: January 2021

Before Talk Scoop found me, I would spend 10-12 hours a day on a hot metal roof building commercial and industrial sheds. I wasn’t sure what I wanted to use as a vehicle to make money to build a life I wanted… I just knew that I hoped it wouldn’t be roofing forever.

Having never done sales before, my first 2 months at Talk Scoop were challenging, I started out struggling to meet the sales KPI’s. I had a feeling deep down that I was meant for this and that I could be one of the best. After a lot of hard work and thanks to the high level of training and knowledge among the team and leaders, I quickly moved my way up the leader board. By the end of my first couple of months I had blown past my KPI achieving my personal best sales in a week, earning roughly $3,100 for the first time ever. I’d never made that much in 3 weeks before let alone 1…

This created opportunities for me to become a leader and learn how to coach others on how to change their lives like I had mine. Even interstate opportunities to work with some of the best in other cities and share our knowledge.

Since my time at Talk Scoop, I’ve work in a couple of different roles. Overall, the sales skills I learnt in my first 2 years at Talk Scoop helped me break sales records in every single sales role I’ve had since. In a digital marketing sales role, their record for sales per day was 10. 11 days into the company I broke that with 11 sales, and then broke my own record 4 weeks later with 12 in a day.

Flash forward, I’ve been an associate in Real Estate where in my first month I broke the bookings record with 43 appointments set. The skills I took from Talk Scoop had me progress from associate to lead agent working for myself within 4 months. The fastest anyone in the company has progressed.

In Summary, the fundamentals and technical training I devoted myself to learning at Talk Scoop is what has given me a multitude of opportunities ever since. My life wouldn’t be the same without the experience. My favourite part was the team and culture, achieving my goals with some of the best people I’ve ever met from across the world.
